- How fast can you get to me?
- Around Caroline Springs and the Brimbank suburbs we are usually with you in 30 to 45 minutes. Call and you will get a real time based on where the truck is, not a guess. If we are running behind, we ring you.
- Are you really open 24 hours?
- Yes. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays, and it is usually Maz on the other end rather than a call centre.
- Can I book a tow in advance?
- Absolutely. Pre-booked jobs are welcome, and they are the best way to lock in a specific time for workshop transfers, interstate runs and machinery moves.
Pricing and payment
- What does a tow cost?
- It depends on where you are, where the vehicle is going and what the vehicle is. Tell us those three things on the phone and you get a set price before the truck leaves.
- Is the quote a set price or an estimate?
- A set price. The only time it changes is if the job turns out to be materially different from what was described, and we tell you before we start rather than after.
- Do I need to be a roadside assistance member?
- No. There is no membership, no joining fee and no policy number needed. You pay for the job you booked.
What we tow
- What kinds of vehicles do you tow?
- Cars, utes, 4WDs, vans, non-runners and immobile vehicles, lowered and modified cars, trailers and boats, small machinery and fleet vehicles.
- Can you tow a car that will not start or steer?
- Yes. The tilt tray deck drops to the ground and we winch the vehicle on, so it does not need to drive or steer.
- Do you handle lowered or modified cars?
- Yes, and we plan for it. Tell us about ride height, front lips and wheel sizes when you call so we bring the right gear and load it slowly.
- Do you attend accidents?
- No. We do not do accident scenes or accident-related towing at all. Breakdowns, immobile vehicles, roadside help and transport are what we do.
Where we go
- Which areas do you cover?
- We are based in Caroline Springs, Victoria and cover Brimbank City and surrounding suburbs, all of Victoria, plus interstate runs.
- How far will you tow?
- Anywhere. Local runs across Melbourne's west are our bread and butter, and we regularly do regional Victorian and interstate jobs.
- Can you pick up from an underground car park or steep driveway?
- Usually yes. Mention the access on the phone, including clearance heights and gate widths, and we will plan the approach before we arrive.
On the day
- Do I need to be with the vehicle?
- It is easier if you are, but not always necessary. We can arrange a key handover and deal with the workshop or the other party directly if you cannot be there.
- Is my vehicle insured while you have it?
- Yes, your vehicle is covered while it is in our care.
- What should I take out of the car?
- Valuables, house keys, documents, toll tags and anything you need for the rest of the day. Leave the vehicle key with us if the car is being dropped somewhere you will not be.
